Biography
My Ph.D. study in the UTK Department of Economics is one of the most memorable and rewarding experiences in my life. The professors were exceptionally supportive of students’ development, guiding us from the birth of research ideas to the paper publications. The curriculum was designed in such a comprehensive way that we were armed with strong marketable skills in both theoretical foundations and empirical applications. The program empowered me to be the best person I could be coming out the other side. Last but not the least, the atmosphere was remarkably inclusive so that I, as an international student, never felt lonely thanks to our big department family.
