Shay Scott, a faculty member in the Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management, teaches a large-enrollment course introducing business students to supply chain management principles. To connect his large student audience with the subject and to bring real world examples into the classroom, Scott created two video series.
The first is a case study that shows the supply chain management in action by demonstrating the supply chain process in a local Knoxville store. The second series includes video interviews with business executives who explain how supply chain management principles are used in their practices, how supply chain management adds value to their business, and how students may plan their careers in supply chain management.
