To address the challenges organizations are facing in the aftermath of COVID-19 disruptions, the University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s Haslam College of Business Executive MBA for Strategic Leadership program is presenting a new weekly webinar series, “Leading in the New Normal.”
The first installment of the series, “Creating the Agile Organization,” was held on Wednesday, May 20, and additional webinars will be held each Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. through July 8. The webinars are free and open to the public. The remaining schedule includes:
- May 27, Navigate Uncertainty
- June 3, Transform the Leadership Culture
- June 10, Shift the Perspective to Strategic Thinking
- June 17, Manage Risk for Success
- June 24, The Art of Simplification
- July 1, Mobilize the Workforce
- July 8, Falling Off the Path, Executive Derailment
Building on the success of the recent “Leadership in Trying Times” webinar series, the new series will provide concise, focused touchstones for leaders looking to navigate new challenges while managing the adaption of familiar methods to new circumstances.
Mike Grojean, director of the Executive MBA for Strategic Leadership program, says the latest series was developed in response to overwhelmingly positive feedback from the first. He believes “Leading in the New Normal” will provide equally valuable content to leaders.
“As organizations adjust to the realities of living in the time of COVID-19, leaders look to both point the way forward yet temper expectations of a quick arrival at their destination,” Grojean says. “‘Leading in the New Normal’ is designed to help leaders guide their organizations on that journey.”
These sessions are free to attend and no pre-registration is required. To learn more, please see the Leadership at Lunchtime webpage.
